The cops were recently called to a recycling center after a local resident try to recycle a Civil War cannonball. The six-inch, six-pound ball was on a processing line when a worker found it. A bomb squad safely removed it from the premises.

They arrived to the scene to find the occupant of the vehicle allegedly trying to hide a small puppy in his pants. Animal control staff quickly recognized the German shepherd as one that was reported stolen in nearby a nearby County. The puppy was returned to its owner and mother.
