You're going to have a wait a little bit longer to see The Who.
Following Roger Daltrey's diagnosis of viral meningitis, the band is postponing the rest of its "The Who Hits 50!" tour. The October 27 show at Madison Square Garden is among the shows impacted.
In a statement, Daltrey said, "We are very sorry to disappoint our fans in this way. For the last four weeks, I have been in and out of the hospital. I am now on the mend and feeling a lot better but I am going to need a considerable time to recover. The doctors tell me I will make a complete recovery, but that I should not do any touring this year."
The band reportedly will look to reschedule the concerts for the spring, and will honor tickets for original dates at those rebooked shows. Ticket holders who won't be able to attend will be able to get a refund at their point of purchase.
