Rolling Stones Guitarist Ronnie Wood Schedules a May Wedding

Ronnie Wood has been busy rocking out this week with The Rolling Stones, who kicked off their "50 and Counting" anniversary tour in London on Sunday, but the guitarist also recently found time to file some important paperwork with regard to his upcoming wedding.  According to The Daily Mail, the 65-year-old rocker and his 34-year-old fiancée, Sally Humphreys, are planning a small, low-key ceremony that will take place in May.

The couple reportedly visited a London register office on Friday where they posted their wedding banns; that is, they signed legal documents officially proclaiming their intention to get married.  The Mail reports that only a few friends and family members will be on hand for the nuptials, which will take place at the London hotel the Dorchester.

Among the expected attendees will be two other Stones members -- fellow guitarist Keith Richards and drummer Charlie Watts -- as well as Ronnie's ex-Faces band mate Rod Stewart.  As previously reported, a source close to Wood told U.K. newspaper The Mirror that the veteran musician is hoping that Richards, Stewart and one or more of his sons all will serve as best men at the ceremony.

The Rolling Stones' second "50 and Counting" concert takes place this Thursday at London's O2 Arena.  The band then will head to the U.S. for a December 8 show in Brooklyn, New York, and a pair of performances -- December 13 and 15 -- in Newark, New Jersey.
