Remember when your mom told you to never put the Q-Tip ALL the way into your ear, but you still did it anyway? A man in England recently had doctors remove the tip of a cotton swab that had been stuck inside his ear for 10 years! The man started experiencing muffled hearing and remembered losing the cotton bud of a swab in his ear a decade earlier. He believed it had eventually fallen out, but it hadn’t. They used a special tool to reach deep inside the ear canal to safely remove it. Fortunately, there was no harm done to the eardrum.
The Miami Herald claims a Miami hotel called Yotel Pad has purchased three robot butlers. The robots are programmed to deliver room service, play music and hold conversations. The robots have GPS technology, which allows them to guide guests through the hotel.

Everyone can relax…the world’s first beer hotel is now open. The Doghouse hotel in Columbus, Ohio, features 32 guest rooms…with beer taps hooked up in each room. Guests can choose in advance which beers they’d like on tap — and there are built-in “shower beer fridges” in the bathrooms so guests can enjoy a shower beer every time they soap up.
