The Local newspaper in Denmark claims a German triathlete has been banned from an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Bavaria for eating too much. Jared Bobrowski ate nearly 100 plates of sushi last weekend. He says the owner and head chef told him he was banned because he consumed too much fish. Bobrowski has a special diet in which he doesn’t eat for 20 hours and then eats until he’s full.
The NY Post claims a Morristown, New Jersey middle school art teacher is going to wear the same dress for 100 days to teach her students about sustainability. Julie Mooney tells WPVI; “The fashion industry is a huge polluter. It’s very wasteful and for what? So we can look cool every day?” Julie plans to wear an apron when she cooks so her dress won’t get dirty. (Come on, we did that in college. Who does laundry in the dorm?!)
Penn Live claims the FBI is looking for a West Mifflin, Pennsylvania bank robber, who wore a McDonald’s uniform during his robbery. The man walked into a bank, handed a teller a note and then left. Officers won’t say how much money, if any, the man got away with. The police have released surveillance video in hopes someone will recognize the suspect.(Hmmm. a thief that smells like fries? Yes, please!)
