WXMI claims a door stop from a Mount Pleasant, Michigan man’s home is worth $100,000 because it is really a meteorite. The man inherited the 22 pound space rock when he bought his home and farm in 1988. He was recently watching a show about meteorite hunters when he took his ‘door stop’ to Central Michigan University. Scientists identified it as a meteorite worth $100,000. No word on if the man plans to sell it, or if it’s still holding a door open.

People magazine claims birds are getting drunk off fermented berries in Gilbert, Minnesota. Gilbert police chief Ty Techar says, “The reason behind this occurrence is certain berries we have in the area have fermented earlier than usual. He also said, these birds as they should sober up within in a short period of time. The birds are flying into cars and buildings.

A cheerleader at a Michigan high school handed out pot brownies in a bid to bribe students into voting for her for homecoming queen, police said. The girl, who has not been identified, distributed the brownies in exchange for support at the next homecoming dance, officials said. Authorities recovered only three of the 12 brownies. They seriously doubt they’ll find the others!
