A Missouri man did himself a bit of self-harm by using YouTube to share a self-help video — showing how to easily remove a court-mandated ankle monitor. Dustin W. Burns doesn’t show his face, but does show his ankle — and he sticks the butter knife in and out of the device, before grabbing a screwdriver to unscrew part of it. He advises viewers to remove the ankle monitor without damaging it, thus avoiding thousands of dollars in fines. (Springfield News-Leader)
USA Today claims a man from India has checked into rehab because he is addicted to…Netflix. The unemployed man was watching 7 hours of Netflix a day before asking for help. He had been watching Netflix to take his mind off of his job problems.
Plenty of teenagers deal with acne and none of them would say that it’s a good thing. But, a new study says there are benefits to dealing with pimples. It seems those who struggle with teenage acne end up with higher grades, higher levels of educational achievement and — in the end — higher earnings. (Knoxville News Sentinel)
