Here’s some more proof the machines are taking over. A painting created by a computer just sold for $432,000. The painting is the first portrait generated by an artificial intelligence algorithm to come up for auction. To some art critics, it looks like it was painted by Rembrandt. And, experts thought it would sell for between $7,000 and $10,000. But, amazingly, somebody stepped up with over $400,000. (Vulture)
