WHAM! It’s the “Last Christmas” ban!

Researchers in New Zealand have studied each of the James Bond movies and have discovered that James has a “severe, chronic alcohol problem.” He averages 4.5 drinking events per film, which lead to risky behaviors, like high-stakes gambling, fights, car chases and unprotected sex. The researchers conclude that James gets some professional help so he can better handle his on-the-job stress. (Vice)

The Drinks Business website claims 231 UK pubs have banned Wham’s “Last Christmas”. The pubs are all managed by the same company, Fuller’s. They, along with Absolute Radio, are playing an anti-Wham game called Whamaggedon. They said, “We have removed ‘Last Christmas’ from all our playlists. If in the unlikely event that one of our customers hears ‘Last Christmas’ in one of our pubs, we will give them a free drink on the house.”

And finally,

Simplemost claims the Glitter Coffin Company is now selling caskets covered in different colored glitter including lilac, ice blue, rose gold, silver, pink, black, gold, purple, white, copper, green and grey. The coffins can be shipped worldwide, while the urns sell for $214. Of course, you’ll always have something to remember the dearly departed by…because you can never get glitter, fully off your clothes, ever.
