Netflix saves lives!

NBC says a ghost recently robbed a Ramada Inn in Wayne, New Jersey. Joseph Elder placed a bed sheet over himself before cutting out two eye holes. He entered the hotel’s lobby, jumped over a counter, and emptied a cash drawer before fleeing. Officers searched the area before discovering the thief. It seems he was staying at the same Ramada Inn he was trying to rob.

CW12 claims Netflix is being credited with saving the lives of a Delaware family. A 13 year-old boy ignored his mother’s orders to go to bed and stop watching Netflix. The teen stayed up and was watching the streaming service, when he smelled smoke coming from his mobile home’s breaker box. A fire broke out and the boy was able to wake and evacuate his family. The family survived and is now staying in a hotel. I wonder if they have free wifi for him.

And finally,

Did you know, you can call 911 from space? A Dutch astronaut accidentally dialed 911 while orbiting Earth aboard the International Space Station. Astronaut AndrĂ© Kuipers, was supposed to dial 9, then 011. He misdialed, which set off an alarm at Johnson Space Center in Houston. He said, “the next day I received an email message: Did you call 911?” he went on to say, he was disappointed the cops didn’t show up at the space station.
