The Daily News says a Wyoming shoplifter recently stole several items from a sporting goods store before returning three hours later to fill out a job application. The suspect took $140 worth of sunglasses and ammunition before coming back to inquire about a job. He then stole two additional pairs of sunglasses. The man was arrested and ordered to return the stolen goods. He didn’t get the job.

Turns out your tongue can smell things, according to a study published in the journal Chemical Senses. When researchers from the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, grew human taste cells in a lab, they discovered that the taste cells had molecules that are also found in the cells in your nose. So, your taste buds CAN smell. You’d think the guy in the office would then know how bad is breath is…but no.
