The Verge claims NASA is opening parts of the International Space Station for business. They are going to allow Hollywood producers to film commercials and movies there. It costs $22,500 per day for an astronaut to live on the space station. Life support systems, the toilet, food, air, medical supplies and more are all figured into the cost. NASA says people, who travel to the space station will most likely pay $35,000 for a one-night stay
A Utah-based company, called Frontier Bundles, is offering $1,000 to the person, who successfully downgrades to a flip phone for a week. The company posted that they are looking for “smartphone addicts, social media experts and tech geeks. Bonus points go to applicants who have an active social presence or are willing to blog their experience.” Frontier Bundles will also give the person a survival kit that includes a road map, a notepad, CDs and a phone book.
The Daily Mirror says a prankster recently fooled a Domino’s Pizza in London when they called and ordered four large cheeseburger pizzas as Queen Elizabeth. Two armed guards at Buckigham Palace stopped the Domino’s Pizza delivery driver to confirm that Queen Elizabeth had made the $58 order. The palace denied phoning in the order.
