Back in 2017, a pair of Converse basketball shoes worn by Michael Jordan in the 1984 Olympics sold for over $190,000, making them the most expensive sneakers sold at auction. That is, until now. A pair of 1972 Nike “Moon Shoes,” (which happen to be one of the first modern sneakers ever created,) has beaten that record! They’re the ones Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman made by pouring rubber onto a waffle iron. They sold for, $437,500. (Sotheby’s)
An unidentified Tinder member recently revealed that while his wife was away on a business trip, he found himself lonely, so he downloaded Tinder, not to do anything, but was just curious. (So he says.) He said he was enjoying looking at the profiles until…wait for it…his wife’s picture and profile came up on Tinder. I don’t know how they story ends, yet, he says he’s going to speak with her when she returns. I wonder f he swiped “right” on her.
WFLA says the St. Lawrence Agency, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, is offering alien abduction insurance. Mike St Lawrence has sold 6,000 comprehensive abduction policies since 1987. They cost between $20 and $25. Each policy includes $10 million worth of coverage as well as psychiatric care. However, in order for the policy to pay out, a space alien must sign a claim form.
