Right in the middle of a high-speed chase in the San Francisco Bay area, a cop driving a Tesla ran out of juice. The Tesla was doing about 120 miles an hour when it pooped out. The suspect was able to hide his car and get away on foot. Two words…extension cord. (KPIX-TV)

Here’s a new take on the crime of opening ice cream in the store, licking it and putting it back. Streetsboro, Ohio police are looking for a man, who recently used deodorant and then put it back on a store shelf! Security cameras at a Giant Eagle grocery store caught the man tampering with the deodorant. It was removed from the shelf before anyone could buy it. Cops have released surveillance video of the man in hopes someone will identify him.

And finally,

WBRE claims an iPhone that was dropped from a plane during the summer of 2018 was recently found in working condition. The phone’s owner was flying over Iceland when he accidentally dropped the phone out of a window. A landowner found it and charged it before calling its owner. The iPhone 6 still works and has video of the fall. (I can’t drop MY iphone from my couch to the carpet below…and this one works after falling from a plane.)
