Vulture magazine says the Los Angeles Kings hockey team had the second worst record in the NHL last season. The Kings won the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014, but started losing in 2015 when a banner, commemorating Taylor Swift’s 16 sold out performances at the Staples Center, was hung. The team is now covering the banner and is undefeated at home this season.
Since today is “Dessert Day,” The Daily Mirror claims CoCo Gelato, in Cardiff, England, has created the world’s most fattening dessert. The Roman Empire features 18 scoops of ice cream, four waffles, chocolate bars, several syrups, several sauces, fresh fruit and brownies. The Roman Empire desert has 3,845 calories! (No wonder the Roman Empire didn’t make it.)
Brobible claims an eight year-old boy from Australia recently reeled in a 700-pound shark. Jayden Millauro was fishing with his father, Jonathan, on their 24-foot boat when they spotted the 10-foot great white. Jayden’s father strapped him into a seat and helped him reel in the 700-pounder. (That’s GOT to be embarrassing for the shark…being reeled in by an 9 year old.)
