A Dutch witch, named Margarita Drongen, went to court and won the right to deduct the cost of her brooms and spell-making lessons from her taxes. She charges $3,000 for her multi-weekend course where students are taught how to make spells, prepare magic portions and heal with stones. The brooms and spell-making lessons are considered business expenses. She tried deducting a Swiffer, but the IRS wouldn’t have it.
