A brewery in North Dakota isn’t just doing a good thing by creating good beer. They’re also helping animals in need by putting shelter dogs on their beer cans. Fargo Brewing Company is now featuring the faces of shelter dogs on its craft beer cans, with the hopes that it helps some dogs find a forever home. (WTVT-TV)
Officer.com says a New York state police officer is being hailed as a hero for saving a bedridden man from a burning home, while dressed in a kilt! Sergeant Robert Bloom III was scheduled to play pipes and drums at a police academy graduation. On his way, he saw smoke pouring from a home. He ran into the house, placed the bedridden man in his wheelchair, and wheeled him out just as flames engulfed the home. One lady stopped to ask him what he was wearing under his kilt. Robert said, “shoes.”
The Daily Mail claims Woolworth’s department store is selling Christmas koozies that are misspelled. The koozies feature Christmas trees along with a greeting that reads, ‘Merry Christhmas’. Woolworths removed all of the drink holders after they were alerted to the spelling error. The weirdest part of this story…I didn’t know there were any more Woolworths left…I miss their chocolate egg creams.
