Kids Can’t Tell Time!

We have a lot of technology around today, and that means we’re used to seeing the time digitally. A poll by Marloe Watch Company found that more than 20 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds can’t read an analog clock, you know, a clock with hands. This may also explain why watchmakers report their sales plummeting. Apparently, smartphones and smartwatches means fewer and fewer young people are using traditional watches, and therefore don’t know how to read them.

The International Business Times says a 243 foot asteroid could hit Earth tomorrow, Friday the 13th. NASA says it has the wingspan of a Boeing 747 and is traveling at 18,000 mph. The asteroid is expected to pass by Earth at 8:25 a.m. Eastern time. But just in case, I’m cash in that 401 K and get that Ferrari.

You can stop tapping on your cans of beer and soda if they’ve been shaken– you’re not doing anything to prevent the liquid from exploding out once you open it. Researchers in Denmark actually scientifically tested this. It’s been long believed that you could prevent a can that has been shaken from exploding when you open it, by tapping on it. The Denmark researchers said, Just let it sit a while. Those Denmark scientists…performing ground breaking research!
