Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas is the world’s largest cruise ship – and it features a bar called the Bionic Bar, which is manned entirely by two robot bartenders. Customers order drinks on iPads – and the robots go to work, cranking out and delivering a drink every two minutes. The question remains…what do you tip a robot? (Insider)

Business Insider says Mercedes-Benz debuted a new car at the Consumer Electronics Show that is inspired by Avatar. The electric car can drive sideways and has no steering wheel. A control unit steers the car. Avatar director James Cameron helped Mercedes design the car. I’ve driven sideways…didn’t mean to, but did.

CBC News claims two snowboarding teens are alive after getting lost in British Columbia’s backcountry. Their parents called the Royal Canadian Mounted Police after they failed to return home A helicopter eventually rescued them. The 16-year-olds stayed warm by burning their homework. (A much more interesting excuse for not having your homework than, “my dog ate it.”)
