CBS says the number of people having weird dreams have jumped since the coronavirus pandemic started. The hashtag #PandemicDreams has been tweeted thousands of times. Psychotherapist Dr. Laurie Nadel says “When we have a big event like COVID-19, people tend to have dreams that are disturbing. One woman posted a dream she had, where her sister was sick, but then turned into a purple monkey covered in toilet paper.
When a government health official in Canada told people that the length to maintain social distancing was about the size of a hockey stick, some people responded by actually using their hockey sticks when they’ve ventured out in public to take care of business. Now, several drive-thrus are now using hockey sticks to deliver debit machines to customers – and some TV reporters have taped their microphones to the ends of hockey sticks. (Travel + Leisure)
ABC says Joanna Pierce, of Copperas Cove, Texas, was recently driving in her neighborhood when she spotted a chalk sign on a driveway that read: ” S.O.S. Homeschooling mom needing wine.” Joanna and her brother went to the store and bought a box of red wine. They then returned to their neighbor’s with the vino. The homeschooling mother posted, “Omg really. I love you so much and I don’t even know you.”
