CNN says a pair of Texas teens are being hailed as heroes for making coronavirus masks out of yarmulkes. Matthew and Jeremy Jason have been collecting yarmulkes from the Jewish community in Houston. The brothers sew elastic bands on them before distributing them to the homeless. Jeremy and Jason have made 316 masks for those in need.
The Brownsville Herald claims Flagler County, Florida Sheriff’s recently went to a home they thought was infested with drugs. When they arrived, they encountered a welcome mat that read, “come back with a warrant”. Sheriff Rick Staley says “This dealer had a doormat that said, ‘Come back with a warrant,’ so we did! Our detectives did a great job in following up on tips received on this house. They have been closed down…all at the suggestion of their front door mat.
Alligator mating season has begun. People magazine says Manatee County, Florida is warning drivers to be aware of mating alligators in roadways. The police released a statement saying, “It’s gator mating season. This means they could be more mobile and aggressive than usual. It’s sort of like spring break for the Florida gators, only with less alcohol, less dance music and less new tattoos.
