The Goose Island brewery has figured out a fun way to serve customers by driving through neighborhoods in Chicago in a van, playing ice cream truck music. It got everyone’s attention! Unfortunately, you can’t just step up to the van and buy beer. But, anyone who calls the number displayed on the side will get a speedy delivery – right to their front door. (The Takeout)

Yahoo News says Belgium is asking residents to eat French fries twice a week because they have a large reserve of potatoes due to the virus.  Secretary General Romain Cools tells CNBC,  “We’re working with supermarkets to see whether we can launch a campaign, asking Belgians to do something for the sector by eating fries—especially frozen fries—twice a week.What we are trying to do, is to avoid food waste, because every lost potato is a loss.” (Direct quote.)

Popular Mechanics says that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is spending $42 million to place a giant clock inside of a West Texas mountain. The ”Clock of the Long Now” will tell time for the next 10,000 years. Bezos tweeted, ”Installation has begun—500 ft tall, all mechanical, powered by day/night thermal cycles, synchronized at solar noon, a symbol for long-term thinking—the 10,000 Year Clock is coming together! Uh, Jeff, people have cell phones…they have clocks on them. (Rich people are so funny.)
