Always double check a listing on Airbnb before booking. A man in England named Jason Keen built a children’s playhouse in his backyard during lockdown. The structure is 8 feet by 6 feet and includes a slide coming off the playhouse’s “front porch” area. Keen decided to list the small house on Airbnb, but didn’t think anyone would actually fork over about $650 per night to stay there. But to his surprise, someone booked the tiny house, and a family of two adults and two children will be staying in the house this upcoming weekend. (Daily Mail)
The Daily Mail says a group of frustrated Australians are dealing with the stress of the coronavirus by asking everyone to stand outside and scream tonight at 7 p.m.. The scream-a-thon is a sequel to last week’s Facebook event called “Stand on your front porch and scream.” The previous event attracted over 24,000 screamers.
A Walmart store in Rockford, Illinois recently had fun with parents when they stacked vodka next to Jello and plastic shot glasses. Somebody posted a picture of the display and joked that it was for Back to School for parents. Silly? Maybe. Brilliant? YES!!
