The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is encouraging Floridians to catch and eat invasive pythons! Burmese python owners have released the snakes into the Everglades because they can no longer care for them. The python population has exploded and the Wildlife Commission say they want hunters to eat what they catch. Many hunters make python chili or add python meat to their pasta! “Yes, I’ll have the python pasta, hold the fangs.” (The Sun Sentinel)
KGTV says someone recently donated a grenade to a local charity in San Diego. Holiday workers were going through donations when they found the explosive. It turned out to be a training grenade and was not real. The San Diego Police posted: ”It may be the season of giving but please, no grenades.”
The NY Post says a nine-pound goldfish was recently caught at Oak Grove Lake in Greenville, South Carolina. A man was electrofishing when he stung the fish causing it to float to the surface. The goldfish was released back into the water. Electrofishing? Really? The poor fish doesn’t stand a chance! Why not just use the grenades you can’t donate to charity!
