Stealing auto parts from cars is a slippery slope that eventually led to a Washington man stealing a large playground slide. 30-year-old Dustin Allen Bushnell was arrested after cops say he stole a 400-pound playground slide, brought it his mobile home, and attached it to his son’s bunk bed. Police had been investigating the theft of catalytic converters, which led them to Bushnell’s home. Yes, the dad is a the thief, but to his kids, he was stealing all the right stuff. (Fox News)
Cops in Florida recently arrested a Pensacola, Florida assistant principal for using a school computer system to rig the homecoming queen vote in favor of her 17 year-old daughter. Laura Rose Carroll and her daughter voted 117 times from the same IP address. Her daughter was voted Homecoming Queen. The votes were traced back to the ip address on her phone. Laura was charged with unlawful use of a two-way communication device and other things. (However, her daughter did make the yearbook, she was voted most likely to spending weekends visiting her mom in jail.) (WKRG)
Modern Farmer magazine, which is my bible, says chicken yoga classes are now taking place in Tampa, Florida. The Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary brings the rescue chickens to a local yoga studio where people do yoga while cuddling the birds. The odd, yet funny part is, the chickens wear diapers during the class…I guess in case they get sqooze too tightly.
