Japanese authorities arrested a man for dating 35 women at the same time. Takashi Miyagawa concocted a scheme to be showered almost weekly with gifts. He faked being serious about the relationships and lied about his birthdate. Dating 35 women meant 35 different birthdays. He collected thousands worth in birthday gifts. His infidelity was discovered. All 35 women gathered forces to report the fraud to police, who are investigating if there are more victims. (I wonder how many of those gifts he REGIFTED!) (Sora News)
If you’ll remember back in 2019, MMA fighter Conor McGregor got into trouble at a bar for punching a guy because the guy wasn’t drinking Conor’s brand of whiskey. Well, Conor just bought that bar for $3 million. And the first thing he did after the papers were signed…was to ban that guy from ever stepping foot in the bar.
Caron McBride of Norman, Oklahoma, had no idea she had a felony charge against her for 20 years. She found out about the charge when she changed her name on her driver’s license after getting married. A movie rental business, called Movie Place, filed the charge against her in 1999 for failing to return a VHS tape of ”Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” The business has been closed since 2009. Caron has hired an attorney to expunge her record. So, those of you who still have a copy of “Caddy Shack” from Blockbuster Video…they’re coming for you! (KFOR)
