Since today is selfie day…London’s City Lit College is offering a course on Selfies. The Website for ‘The art of self portraiture’ reads: The course is an introduction to capturing a self-portrait. It is conceived for students to improve their critical understanding of the self-portrait. They call it self-portrait, instead of a selfy, because who would want to pay tuition for a course called, “Selfies.”
Jason Hernandez, of San Diego, has come up with a solution for dog owners, who have trouble getting their pooches to pose for the perfect photo. The “Pooch Selfie” is a simple smartphone attachment. It allows users to attach a tennis ball to their phone. Since most dogs love staring at tennis balls, it’s a rather ingenious invention. It works well, until your dog takes off with the tennis ball…with your camera attached.
People in China are spending $1,000 on a selfie camera that makes you look like you have had plastic surgery. The camera can slim your face, enlarge your eyes, lighten your skin and remove wrinkles.
