New York’s Serendipity 3 restaurant set a new world record yesterday for the World’s Most Expensive French fries. One order of the fries costs $200. The fries are made with Chipperbeck potatoes, Dom Perignon Champagne, J LeBlanc champagne vinegar and pure goose fat from Southern France. The restaurant made the fries to celebrate National French Fry Day. I’d rather have the fries wedged between the seats in my car.
The Berkeley, California police recently arrested an 85 year-old bank robber. Jesse King entered a Wells Fargo bank before handing a note to a teller demanding money. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested a short time later by cops who were able to catch up to the 85-year-old, by walking swiftly. (NBC)
