Christine and Gannon Kar- mire recently got married in Youngsville, North Carolina. But the groom, Gannon, had to go the hospital because of food poisoning. So, Christine stayed behind at their wedding reception and found a mannequin on wheels. She taped an iPad to the mannequin’s head and then video chatted with Gannon at the hospital. She even danced with him, with his face on the ipad atop the mannequin. Everyone cheered, however the whole “the bride feeds the groom” thing didn’t go as well. (Metro UK)
A 74 year-old woman from Cambodia recently married a cow because she is convinced the cow is actually her reincarnated husband. The cow lives in Kim Hang’s home where she allows it to sleep on the same pillows as her husband did. Kim also says the cow has many of the same characteristics her late spouse had. And by that, I can only assume she means the same methane level. (The Daily Star)
– A new survey says a lot of people who bought a puppy during the pandemic, no longer want a child. I’m not sure if they found having a puppy overwhelming, resulting in not wanting kids, OR whether they saw the price of colleges and thought…yeah, a puppy’s good.
