The “Elf” Bar!

The “Elf” Bar!

An African grey parrot from London is going viral because it uses profanity. Lorraine Gregory obtained Scooby after his previous owner died. She says he uses bad words on a daily basis. When asked if he is going to be a good boy, Scooby responds, “NO!”  His name is Scooby, but with that kind of language they should have named him, “Dice.” (The Daily Mirror)

A pop-up bar has opened in Chicago that is inspired by Will Ferrell’s ”Elf” movie. The Stretch Bar and Grill serves Buddy’s Breakfast Pasta, which has spaghetti, topped with maple syrup, chocolate fudge, and mini marshmallows. The bar also has about a thousand elves of all shapes and sizes. Condiment trays feature the “four main food groups” … candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup. (WGN)

And finally,

The company called, “Little Tikes” is under fire for creating a Peloton-like bike for children. The stationary bike is for kids, ages 3 to 7. It has a screen attached for viewing videos. The bike costs $1,495. Little Tikes is also offering a monthly membership fee of $39 so kids can take online classes.  I have an even better idea…go outside…and play! (WDSU)
